GOLD PANNING
Many people don’t know that Vermont had a gold rush centuries ago. People still enjoy spending summer afternoons panning in the cool mountain streams in search of that pretty yellow metal. Our summer houses come equipped with all the things you’ll need for an afternoon of gold panning and some of the best panning spots are only a few miles away. Our favorite spot, Browns Bridge in nearby Shrewsbury is also a great place to bring your dogs while you pan for gold.
