HISTORY:
Wallingford Vermont was founded in 1761. The town was known as the location of the birthplace of modern tools in America with the start of Batchellar Brothers Fork & Hoe forge at the Old Stone Shop at 205 South Main Street. Over time the company grew and Wallingford became a company town with fork and hoe mills all along Otter Creek which runs through the center of the village. 36 Railroad Street was built a worker housing for the mill manager in the 1930s. The property underwent a total renovation and restoration in the 1970’s and 2026.

• Smart TV’s in living room and outdoor living porch. We feature LG Smart TVs in all our properties. These come preloaded with 147 free channels as well as most of the common apps like Netflix, Hulu and others. You’ll need your own account to use the streaming apps except You tube and LG channels. The TVs take a moment to connect to the internet and by pressing the button on the remote with the little house icon, it will bring up all the apps.
